I can understand this position & think it speaks to an opportunity to reform hierarchical structures rather than to flatten them. Flattening them entirely is going to create an entirely new set of issues (see: Tyranny of Structurelessness).

This is entirely accurate and has radically changed the hiring process. I added a “Brown M&Ms” clause to my JDs as a way to try and filter for this, but the hit rate was 0%.
