A year ago this time my wife and I were self-driving through Namibia. The Namibian people were universally wonderful, the landscapes and animal sightings were spectacular, and the Toyota Hilux is a rock-solid truck we can’t get in the States.
Had a great experience. Highly recommended if you’ve ever thought doing something like this. Happy to share suggestions/contacts if you’re considering it.
